Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.
Dudes, so this is your chance to spam me with anything! Pictures, lyrics, the word SPAM over and over. Feel free to tell me something about yourself, or screen your comments. Do whatever you want! It's all up to you.
Okay, so I realise 1000 is a tall number so just spam away and we'll see where we get up to. Please entertain me!
Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.
Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.
ETA: Okay, the drabble tag's here, come and play.

Re: Fred/Illyria
on 2004-06-20 06:41 pm (UTC)A few years later, Dawn wasn't sure Buffy would react the same way when she saw her and Tara together in the mornings. After all, Tara was lots older, and used to date Willow, and Buffy still wasn't comfortable with Dawn kissing anyone, adult Willow-dating witch or no...
But at least she couldn't play the lesbian card.

Faith dug the knife in deeper. “Who said anything about killing?”

Drusilla, candles
on 2004-06-20 07:09 pm (UTC)This isn’t the first time Drusilla is alone.
The first time she run to the church every morning, lighting one candle for each of her loved one’s souls. Mommy who was dead on the doorstep, Dad who was never found, Cynthia who was in her bed and Sebastian whose body was destroyed beyond recognition.
No prayer brought them back, nor did they give her peace.
Now Drusilla lights candles again. One for her angel and another for her boy. Puts them carefully in front of her, exactly in the middle of the bloody star.
This time they will come back.

Dawn. Spike. Labyrinth
on 2004-06-20 08:49 pm (UTC)He should've guessed when Dawn found that damned book. But Spike hadn't actually seen it until much later; chained at Glory's mercy he understood how inhuman the goddess was.
That was when the thought struck.
Created by monks, she wasn't more than a Galathea, was she? Imitation of life and... just what could he do to her?
He finds her at home, watching one of those movies she used to watch with her mom. Labyrinth tonight. She smiles trustingly and he pats her head, just a bit more forcefully. He is already planning his next step when the pain hits.

on 2004-06-20 09:06 pm (UTC)Recess on the playground was the worst part of kindergarten for Willow. All the other kids picked on her because she was smart. They called her ‘teacher’s pet’ and chased her around. If they caught her they’d mercilessly tug at her pigtails. Her mother told her that the mean kids were only mean because they lacked self-confidence, however it was hard to remember that when they were running after you.
That particular afternoon she sat under the slide crying, when someone came over to her. He wore a goofy smile across his face, “Hi, I’m Xander. Wanna play with me?”

Re: Pre-series, Willow, Xander.
on 2004-06-20 09:25 pm (UTC)Angel only saw her once in this lifetime. Thank God he didn’t recognise her.
She had been convincing a posh lady to say the precious words. Next thing she knew the stupid dog had run off and a souled vampire was rescuing it from certain death. Of course, that ‘selfless act’ had restored the woman’s faith in men, go figure.
Anya had identified him. Yes, Angelus was a mere half-breed, a faulty one at that. But he was confused, lost and very pretty. She was only female and very pissed off, could anyone really blame her for what happened next?

" David Bowie." She replies. She has seen the movie before. It was one of Buffy's favorites. He seems to smile a bit wider at the mention of the British crooner.
She isn't Buffy, but her body is thin like hers, and she likes him well enough. She will do.

"Yeah, that's what I said.. So your past honeys have been less than perfect. Angel. Parker. Riley."
"Pike."
"Please tell me you didn't really sleep with Spike!"
"Xander, relax… I said Pike."
"There's a Pike, now? Do I know this… 'Pike'?"
"He's a guy I used to know, back in LA. Really crazy.. but in a good way. We were.. nice together."
"Don't worry, Buff. There's plenty more Pike's-- er fish-- in the sea."

on 2004-06-21 08:59 am (UTC)He shouldn’t shadow her anymore. He should attack. So far she’s only seen what Angelus does when he’s amused, he still has to gather enough anger to destroy the flimsy illusions she may have left.
Buffy thinks this is a mistake, like her Calling and this parody of a town.
She feels him behind her like the shadow she never requested. Buffy is damned every it brings comfort. Angelus will attack; when he does it will destroy the fragile hope he hadn’t swept away yet.

When she felt Giles’ Hairy Eyeball of Death upon her, Willow sobered. “So, explain this spell to me again.”
“Now that I’m working again, I worried about missing ‘Passions’ and I—“
“And you couldn’t just use a VCR like everybody else?”
Giles scowled. “Infernal contraptions!”
Suddenly, the large doll began crying, “Timmy wants to go home. Tabby misses Timmy!”
Willow dissolved into hysterical laughter once more.

Then Buffy walked in on them.
"Oh god!" she all but shrieked. Willow coming to her side in a moment to heighten their embarrassment.
"What? Are they kissing again?"
"Worse. Dungeons and Dragons."

He studied every moment of every day, and worked on the occult at night. The five minutes a weekend that he took away from studying were spent practicing martial arts. And it was never enough for his father. The bastard’s scorn continuously ran in his ears,
”Marks like that will kill your Slayer, Rupert.”
He was never going to be a Watcher. He should leave school and live for himself.
He’d start by going to Ethan’s party tonight.

He closes her eyes with kisses as he pumps into her again.
He never sees her while they’re fucking, though. She laughs saying that he’s a sick bastard. Wolf under the wool. She bites his nipple and tongues his navel. Still waiting for Little Red and Goldilocks?
Shut up and suck it off, he orders, pressing her head against his thigh. Wicked witch, seeking me for a little fun. Having fun now? he asks cruelly as he drives semen-coated fingers into her mouth.
She only laughs.

Best incentive she ever heard.

Again.
"Okay." Andrew peered fearfully into the microwave. "If I take the water out and stir it carefully every few seconds, it probably won’t explode and make our faces all cratered with flying metals like in the last Bond film. But I'm not sure."
One look at Warren’s face and Andrew poured the water.

She studied him critically. “You’re cheating.”
“Would I do that to you?”
“In a heartbeat. If you had one.” She gathers up all the cards. “If you’re going to cheat, at least play something worth cheating at.”
“Like?”
“Poker.”
It was his turn to study her. “You play poker?”

He closed her eyes reverently, not bothered by his own softness, and remembered her last word. “Why?”
Angelus had laughed, let her feel it against her neck. “A fairytale gone wrong,” he had whispered, licking the skin. “But ever-afters still win.” Next he bit down and held her until she fell against him.
