Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] girlfromsouth:

Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.

Dudes, so this is your chance to spam me with anything! Pictures, lyrics, the word SPAM over and over. Feel free to tell me something about yourself, or screen your comments. Do whatever you want! It's all up to you.

Okay, so I realise 1000 is a tall number so just spam away and we'll see where we get up to. Please entertain me!

Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.

Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.

ETA: Okay, the drabble tag's here, come and play.

Giles hated to think of it as sneaking. Not that he was above sneaking, he just didn't like to think it was necessary that he and Xander hide their... whatever it was.

Sometimes they'd invite one or two others, no one from the gang as the knew what kind of response that would elicit. They kept it a secret for quite some time, ducking into Buffy's basement, the training room, where ever, as long as they weren't watched.

Then Buffy walked in on them.

"Oh god!" she all but shrieked. Willow coming to her side in a moment to heighten their embarrassment.

"What? Are they kissing again?"

"Worse. Dungeons and Dragons."

Next pairing: Giles/Wesley/Xander

(aw, I love d&d...)

The new Watcher was nothing like Giles. Xander tried to imagine that perhaps he was like Giles used to be. But it was hard to imagine Giles tripping over his words so much, or being so utterly incompetent with women.

But Giles didn't talk to women much, and behind Wesley's failures with the fair sex lurked a sense of not-caring much either way. They were both geniuses, of course. And they had those twin accents that wrapped around Xander's mind like full-bodied wine.

"Xander? Are you quite alright? You've been staring for several minutes."

Giles was looking at him strangely, Wes peering with his deer-in-the-headlight eyes.

"Fine."

The Watchers exchanged knowing glances. They had more in common then Xander could possibly imagine- yet.
