Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.
Dudes, so this is your chance to spam me with anything! Pictures, lyrics, the word SPAM over and over. Feel free to tell me something about yourself, or screen your comments. Do whatever you want! It's all up to you.
Okay, so I realise 1000 is a tall number so just spam away and we'll see where we get up to. Please entertain me!
Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.
Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.
ETA: Okay, the drabble tag's here, come and play.

on 2004-06-19 05:48 pm (UTC)Illyria says she’s like nobody but herself.
Funny how he thinks of Fred less and less when he looks at her. Doesn’t smell anything like her, of course, and that’s a big part of it. Looks different, moves different. The sharp, cool taste of her’s probably different too, but he never kissed Fred, and he doesn’t know.

on 2004-06-19 06:03 pm (UTC)He doesn’t socialize. He doesn’t schmooze. He doesn’t date. Not because he couldn’t make friends or acquaintances or girlfriends if he wanted them, but because equals are messy.
He orders teachers and staff around at school. He cringes before the Mayor and the City Council. He hires whores and gives them extra money to beg for it. He terrorizes students. He keeps his life neat and orderly.
He likes hierarchy.

on 2004-06-19 06:55 pm (UTC)Hey, he was only formerly-human. Sometimes when he was on stage, in her lap… nah. He’d known it could never happen.
A slayer in love with a puppet? Sid stiffly shook his head at the thought. Only thing crazier would be a slayer in love with a vampire.

on 2004-06-20 06:12 am (UTC)Pretty boy alone at night, perfect. Greet him, begin a conversation, notice how the words flow easily from that mouth. This one would know the rhyme to effulgent, it’s written all over his face.
Next he learns the kid’s name, his prospects and a couple theories about why Spike feels like he feels. Webster here is a talker, alright, but it is Spike who talks him into leaving together.
Submission usually begins after rising, true, but Spike’s too eager to wait. Besides, it’s something like an achievement to keep that mouth closed. Right now Spike needs to achieve something. Anything.

Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-20 06:24 am (UTC)“Ow!” she complains, but she doesn’t look surprised when he spins her to face him, and he knows that she saw him out there, danced anyway.
“Your sister know how you’re making money, ‘Bit?”
Dawn rubs her arm, glaring. “Does she know you’re alive?”
Touche.
Makes him furious to see the little girl gone, painted up like a cheap tart and taking off her clothes for dollar bills. But the next night, ashamed, he still comes back.

Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-20 09:14 am (UTC)It's not Cordelia's fault she's attracted to power. Her mother drummed the mantra into her from an early age. Power means success, success means everything. Find a powerful man and you're set for life.
Only the most powerful person in Sunnydale isn't any man, it's the Slayer. Tall, dark and handsome lost when it met short, blonde and shampoo that smells of apples. Power is Buffy, and Buffy is Cordelia's. Just the way it should be.
Next pairing: Angelus/Wesley
Re: Drabble tag!
on 2004-06-20 10:27 am (UTC)Wesley looks about him as Angelus throws his arms around him in a mockery of a hug. Whispering, " no. way. out." and snuffling into his shoulder.
"Just you and me Wes. Don’t say you don’t want it. I can smell it on you, drowning out the fear even. Mmmmm. Tasty."
As Wesley tries to move, thinking quickly thinking, what can I use? How can I…
And then there’s an ebbing and a coldness spreading and a darkness falling and it feels so good.

on 2004-06-19 06:16 pm (UTC)Who called the agents for Marcie? Who hired that swim coach? It was he who let the Bezoar into the basement – for a very large fee, of course.
He knows everything that happens in his school. Make-out in Chemistry Room, wild PDA in the cafeteria, cheating in Maths class and murder in Physics. It’s all old hat for Snyder.
Summers is behaving especially weird today and Snyder almost claps in delight when he understands the cause.
He wants it, this new gift of hers.
With it, nobody will ever escape him anymore.

on 2004-06-20 11:46 am (UTC)Outwardly, she projected a cool exterior, adept with slinging knowledge of pop culture and the latest breaking news while still having ties to the occult underground and techno-pagan lifestyle. Inwardly though, there was a side of herself no one knew. Janna Kalderash, a Romany gypsy sent to make sure Angel still suffered her tribe’s curse.
She had wanted to tell Rupert the truth when they went out for coffee that night, but once again she had failed. Maybe there would be another chance to tell him after Buffy’s birthday party next week.

“Buffy’s gonna kill you.”
“My son’s all that matters,” he said, and she closed her eyes so she didn’t have to look at the knife.
Next: Fred/Harmony
Re: Miss Calendar. coffee.
on 2004-06-20 05:45 pm (UTC)Harmony's sure she likes boys, or at least she did when she was human.
But Harmony's not stupid, no matter what they say, and she's read enough books and seen enough movies to totally get that vampires are inherently bisexual.
So when Fred asks her out for drinks, how can she say no? After all, Fred's cute, and her first lesbian experience might as well be with someone pretty, you know?
And Fred is smart and funny and damn near perfect, for a girl.
Harmony's still pretty sure she's straight. Except that she really wants to be kissing Fred again.

He smiles bitterly. “I can’t let it win.”
“One day it will.” Anya frowns. “You are only human.”
Oz shakes his head and shrugs. “I know.”
Anya feels something like sadness when she watches him leave. Maybe he is the first male she’s not pleased to see so defeated.

He dares. Skritch.
Her heel slips, scraping a chunk of paint off the car’s hood.
The matching $80 silk underwear suffers the same fate as the bra.
When Lilah comes, she sets off several car alarms, then glares at Wesley and stalks off.
He shows up the next night with ice cream as an apology.
“How cliché,” she says, eyebrows raised.
Wesley smiles. “Only if you plan on eating it.”

Buffy/Cordelia
on 2004-06-21 11:10 am (UTC)Cordelia never breaths a word, content at having her share of virgin Slayer. Buffy just likes to see the prom queen on her knees.
She has no fear of cheating her boyfriend, he practically devours every detail she can remember. Buffy swears it turns him on better than anything else. She even offered to film everything, but Angel prefers her words over the cold images.
So Buffy tells him about caressing Cordelia lazily under her expensive panties and how the princess breathes senseless words when she comes.
The memories make her as hot and hungry as the story makes him.

Eventually, she forgets her vigil.

Rupert would hate it, of course. He would call it inane and hide it from the kids.
He was coming over for dinner tonight and she had made a chocolate trifle for dessert. A trifle that would require coffee, and a nice mug to put it in. She would give him the mug then, and he could take it home with him.
Hopefully, he would stay for breakfast so she could fill the mug with morning coffee before he took it home.
Jenny smiled, and headed for the checkout counter.

on 2004-06-20 01:35 pm (UTC)Willow periodically flirts with two original characters, a man and a woman who work at a coffee shop. We never see anything specific beyond her flirting with them and periodically disappearing for coffee. I think the writers are having fun leaving the whole thing as ambiguous as possible.
Dawn/Ethan
on 2004-06-21 07:21 am (UTC)She hates him. He lied to her for months, pretending to be her friend while using her to get to Giles.
She hates him… and she misses him. Ethan was always fun to be around. He made her laugh, and he certainly wasn’t hard on the eyes. She loved the sound of his voice, British like Giles’, but smoother. The addictive glow in his eyes that was only for her.
Ethan’s a big fat liar, and she’s glad she knows the truth now.
Except at night, when she would give anything to be ignorant… and back in his hotel room.
