The Semi-Annual delurking/tell Doyle things/help me procrastinate, bitches Post

Anybody feel like delurking? Or pretending to lurk so you can delurk and comment?

I would like to know any of the following: (unnumbered since I don't expect people to answer them all)
- what's the last movie you saw that you really loved or really hated?
- is there a fic/pairing/scenario/cracked out AU, in any fandom or crossover, that plainly needs to be written but so far hasn't, to your great distress?
- show off your favourite icon.
- what's your favourite season finale of any show ever? Feel free to spoil me.
- if there's a TV/movie/book moment that just gets to you, whether to make you bawl your eyes out or fall about laughing, tell me about it. (*) (Note that this is a footnote mark, not a single pierced nipple boobicon.)
- confess your deep fandom shame. It's good for the soul.
- what upcoming movie/TV show/book/comic/whatever are you excited about? (I think we'll take Serenity as a given...)
- who's the best character in The Simpsons? This would be a poll if I weren't lazy. (It's Reverend Lovejoy, of coure, but I would also accept Sideshow Mel or the gestalt entity Carl-and-Lenny.)
- obscure character love yay! Who needs the love, in any fandom?
- and speaking of obscure, tell me what rare fandoms you have, or what you'd like to see good fic for.

(*) My emotionally crippling moments: I mentioned this when [livejournal.com profile] miggy did her meme a few weeks back, but the Simpsons episode Lisa's Substitute tears me up every single time. Argh, the note, "this is everything you need to know" and it just says "you are Lisa Simpson." I have to watch that episode every time it's on TV. I own it on DVD, I've seen it maybe 30 times, but if it's on TV I'm compelled to sit and watch for that one moment.

And don't get me started on Lilo and Stitch, because then my rampant immaturity will be out there for all the world to see.

ETA: I'm off to bed so if you don't get an immediate response, remember your hitchhiker's guide advice and don't panic. I'll be answering these tomorrow. But keep your towel on standby just in case.

- I'm taking Serenity as a given in this one as well, because I saw it twice recently and ohmygodserenity! :D
So. A couple of days ago I watched Show Me Love / Fucking Amal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0150662/), which is really fantastic and should be seen by everyone.

- There should be girlslashy Firefly/Farscape crossovers. Preferably involving, say, Aeryn/Zoe, or Chiana/Kaylee. Hee.

- Damn, I have to choose just one? I don't have one! And it changes all the time! Ok, current favourite... I'm using it now.

- Don't make me choooooose! Probably the end of Buffy Season 3, which is just... it's Graduation Day. Yes. Althoug hthe very end of Farscape was really, really shiny.

- I'm really not original here - Anya's speech in The Body makes me cry like crazy. Every single time. Also, the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Wah.

- When I first discovered fandom, age 14, I subjected the poor, unsuspecting internet to Ginny-gets-a-makeover-and-ends-up-with-Harry fic of many chapters and unimaginable badness.

- Serenityserenityserenityserenityserenityserenityserenity... What? Other than Serenity? There are other films coming out soon? *peeks out of Browncoat bubble tentatively*
Ok, I'm pretty excited about Goblet of Fire, because the PoA film wasn't such a bad adaptation, and the trailers look shiny.

- Lisa, definitely.

- Gilina, from Farscape, who was lovely, and was in about 3 episodes, then got killed off. Poor Gilina.
Also Vi, from Buffy, because I have always had much love for her, and someone once wrote me a very shiny Vi/Faith fic, which made me have even more love. *grin*

- Bad Girls (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0203248/)! Because it's trashy and and melodramatic and girlslashy and the first three season were actually fantastic and had great storylines and characters. It got a bit crap after that though. [livejournal.com profile] badgirls_tv
There's a very small amount of good fic for it out there, and a large-ish amount of abysmal stuff. There needs to be more good Nikki/Helen fic, damn it!

*pets lovely Kaylee*

Bwah! Oh, I wrote appalling Mulder/Scully fic when I was about 12. I feel your pain.

Bad Girls is one of those things that's massively famous and yet I've never seen it. Like Stargate, until last week.
