Okay, this Sandman fic - Sleep for Grief, by Melymbrosia - just made me cry my eyes out, which is odd for a little story about libraries. It's not necessary to have ever read Sandman; if you love books this one's highly recommended.

Also thought I'd pimp my favourite Trek (DS9) fic ever. It's called Jeu-Parti (the trilogy's made up of Orfeo, Eye of the Storm and Anslem) and it's Jake Sisko/Original Male Character. It owes a lot to Anne Rice's Cry to Heaven and is a totally superb novel.

QAF

Just had an epiphany. Andrew's soulmate is so Vince from Queer as Folk UK. I mean, the "I've seen every episode of Doctor Who" alone would be enough to make Vince fall for him (Vinnie is a Doctor Who fanatic).

Must write crossover fic.

Thinking all this got me thinking about QAF, which I so have to rewatch tomorrow. I just loved it so much - the characters, their progression throughout the series... and Stuart/Vince! Theirlovewassoepic. I also remembered my favourite romantic scene of any television series ever -
