Top 10 Homoerotic moment on BtVS

Odd how many of these involve Xander...

The "biteable/nummy treat" conversation between Spike and Xander in Hush. About the closest to canon Spander as was ever put onscreen.

School Hard: I crack up at Xander's slightly suspicious "you're his *sire*? What's a sire?"

Angel kissing Spike on the forehead in Innocence. Not quite as good as Krycek kissing Mulder in The Red and the Black (because that made me fall out of my chair in shock), but close.

The faux-Mayor's statement that all Faith ever wanted was for Buffy to love her.

Xander's slightly dreamy tangent about the attractiveness of Spike's compact yet muscular body in Intervention, capped by the "I'm not sleeping with Spike! Starting to think you might be!" Love me my Jane E.

Beneath You: Xander and Spike glancing uneasily at one another on the "is there anyone who hasn't slept together?" question.

Just about every Xandrew interaction in Storyteller. Especially Xander's head-duck-and-flirty-smile combo when Andrew calls him the heart of the Scoobies.

Xander (again) commenting on Wesley's "Pierce-Brosnany eyes". So we don't need to ask who his favourite Bond was, then.

Xander (yet again) getting so teary at Riley's exit in Into the Woods that I expected him to run after the damn helicopter himself. (Come back, Riley! Me and [livejournal.com profile] zyre and [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast and Xander love you!)

Hello nurse

Lindsey singing in Dead End.

Angelus under the sprinklers in Innocence.

The first reveal of vampire Xander in The Wish.

Angel wearing the black hoodie in season 4 AtS. And I have no idea why that outfit inspires such a strong reaction in me.

Spike, any time when he has the Bed Hair of Partial Redemption, noticeably in Intervention.

Wesley, any time he produces guns and shoots things in slo-mo (ironic that I was laughing at a gun-fetishist site one night, then an hour later saw a Wes-with-guns scene in something like Rain of Fire and had to be scraped off the ceiling)

Players: Gunn in a suit!

Spike's headtilt-and-smile in Life Serial.

Scruffy Wesley, shirtless and in jeans, in Deep Down.

Giles without his glasses. Most notably his entrance in Two to Go.

:coughs: see below.

(I'd include Connor, but though he's very very pretty he doesn't inspire naughty thoughts so much as an urge to give him hugs and chocolate)

Krycek kissing Mulder in The Red and the Black

Quite possibly the slashiest moment of television history.

The hoodie! The hoodie is dead. Long live the hoodie!

Scruffy Wesley, shirtless and in jeans, in Deep Down.

Wes in Deep Down. Period. I liked the element of surprise just as much as anyone else, but I really, really wish we could have seen him track Justine down and drag her back to the apartment.

I'd include Connor, but though he's very very pretty he doesn't inspire naughty thoughts so much as an urge to give him hugs and chocolate

Hmmm...I always start out just giving him a hug, but then my hands slip...

Krycek kissing Mulder in The Red and the Black

Quite possibly the slashiest moment of television history.

*g* One of the unofficial guides to the X-Files describes it as "Krycek passionately kisses Mulder in what's eithe a Russian goodbye, or a result of pressure from the fan fiction lobby" (it's from the same line of episode guides as Hollywood Vampire, the guide to the first two seasons of Angel, which made a point of noting all the homoeroticism including the comment "Lindsey seems to be really struggling with his sexuality in this episode")

Hmmm...I always start out just giving him a hug, but then my hands slip...

Naughty you :D

I felt so bad for the poor woobie in Home, especially at Angel's line "there are people who love you", because I instantly thought "well, just Angel, really, and maybe Wes." And at a stretch, Fred. He needs hugs! Lots of hugs. :sniffs:

And you! And me, by GOD! We love him!

Ack, ack!

Oh, my girl Fred did love Connor, all right. She wouldn't have gotten so offended and taser-happy if she didn't. It's the betrayal, maaaan! It stuuuung!

Keith Topping is the author of those guides and he's really amusing (and no I don't get royalties for recommending them).

No shit! And it was on last night. One thing I noticed, from the very first time I saw it? They speeded up the lean.

The lean? Yes, the "I'm about to kiss Mulder and he's gonna let me" lean. It's clearly speeded up film. I watched it a lot. And watched it on slow, in which case it was too slow, but... you know, in this digital age, someone should be able to take that clip and set the lean back to the natural speed. '

I always figured it was because if it went at a normal speed, it would look too slashy, and Mulder too willing.

You're telling me, that if I slow the lean down to normal speed, it would make Mulder look even *more* willing than he already does?
