I went to a C of E primary school, possibly two actually, don't quite remember about the first one.

I blinked, said "what? Yes there are!" and decided I needed verification...

I can beat that. An American friend of mine was once yelled at by her RL writing group for writing an English character wrong, because (and I quote from her quote) 'British people don't speak using contractions'. Really, some days there's no end to the *mindboggle*...
