English people on my flist - any of you go to a Church of England school? Or know of someone who did?

I went to C of E first and middle schools - up to age 13 - then not after that.

Ah, thank you. I noticed a fic review on ff.net was taking an author to task for saying a character had gone to a C of E school because there's apparently no such thing - I blinked, said "what? Yes there are!" and decided I needed verification...

Yes there is, to be more grammatical...

Never been to one, but I used to live by one. They definitely exist!

How weird. It's not like they're obscure, even. Probably there are fewer now with church affiliation than there used to be, but I can still name a handful of state schools in Bradford that are CofE just off the top of my head.

School, and Sunday School.

I did, a CofE girls' school from GCSEs to A-Levels as befits a good, nicely-brought up girl. You can clearly see the good all that religion did me. ;)

I did. I went to a CofE junior school in London between the ages of 7 and 11.

I went to a C of E primary school, possibly two actually, don't quite remember about the first one.

I blinked, said "what? Yes there are!" and decided I needed verification...

I can beat that. An American friend of mine was once yelled at by her RL writing group for writing an English character wrong, because (and I quote from her quote) 'British people don't speak using contractions'. Really, some days there's no end to the *mindboggle*...

I went to one. Any particular reason?

*Hee*

*tackle-hug*

I googled 'church england school', got 3 million results, and went, 'you plonker'. The reviewer also said that Adam wasn't born in 1986--is there some Doctor info site that I have missed that says this? Or did I miss something in the episode?

Isn't he 20? Making him born in 1992?

I know that you had him as 20, but where did you get that from? It's not important to the fic or anything, but I like to know these things.

I think it said in the ep that he's 20, but I couldn't swear to it.

Also, he's listed as being 14 in 2006 (2005?) on Mickey's website.
