Mar. 17th, 2005 11:19 pmI'm watching old episodes of Blackadder the Third and trying in vain to reconcile Prince George with Gregory House. It's brain-wrecking. (I don't know how much Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster and A Bit of Fry and Laurie have been shown outside the UK, but I grew up on wall to wall repeats of them. Suddenly finding Hugh Laurie hot is very disconcerting.)
If I've friended you in the last couple of days, it's probably because I like reading your posts on House - no need to friend back.
This is the first time ever that less than half of my icons have been Buffyverse. It's very sad that this makes me guilty.

on 2005-03-17 11:30 pm (UTC)It is difficult to reconcile Lieutenant George (aka the gorgeous Georgina) with the scruffy, sexy (and I'm assuming) gravelly-voiced man I'm seeing in various icons.
*waits for House to come to Sky...*

on 2005-03-17 11:54 pm (UTC)Drat. THAT'S what I should have watched last night. Blackadder.
(We were very tired, and didn't have time for a movie, so we just popped some Eddie Izzard into the DVD player.)
(Other confessions of Odd Hotness: Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder II, and Chris Barrie as Ace Rimmer. Oh, and see icon.)
(My taste in men is far more suspect than my taste in women, I fear.)

on 2005-03-18 12:04 am (UTC)I've not seen any House, but all the LJ talk is getting me really interested in it. When did Hugh Laurie achieve hotness? I mean, seriously. Blackadder, A Bit Of Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster... not hot. Now: very very hot.
I want one of the UK channels to buy House, stat.
