Over the last two days we've rented and watched both Scooby Doo live action movies. Um. Am I going to lose any cool points you people foolishly think I possess if I admit that I really enjoyed them? And that I'm so in love with Velma? And that I was fully on board the Velma/Daphne/Fred ship till Seth Green turned up as her love interest in the sequel? (Mr. Green should play a serial killer, by the way. He plays menacing very well. Also, I would like to marry him and make him wear glasses *all the time*, but that's incidental.)

Dude, the main character is so stoned he thinks his dog can talk. I was destined to love these movies.

I haven't seen Scooby 2 yet, but I did see the first one in the theatre with a couple of my friends. We all liked it a lot; it was just so silly, but in a good way. There is certainly a place for that kind of entertaining fluff.
