Me, an hour ago: PutonE4rightawayhavetowatchthesecondepisodeofDesperateHousewives!
Dad: Mm?
Me: E4! Desperate Housewives!
Dad: Ahh, I see the confusion here: you see, we have these things called 'television schedules'. Now, you've just finished watching Desperate Housewives on Channel 4, so it'll be on again *next* Wednesday at 10.
Me: [Cartman] Daaaad! I have to watch it nooooow!
Mum: Oh, let her watch her program.
Me: Huzzah!
Mum: I didn't understand that Dangerous Wives at all. The lady's dead, how can she be telling the story?

I wish AIM wasn't being a bastard so I could squee with people. As it is, I'm going offline now so I don't get tempted to read spoilers (this is one of the few shows where I went in knowing absolutely nothing but "[livejournal.com profile] jennyo loves it, there's a character called Bree, [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast says the narrator's a dead woman and the trailer kicks ass". It was nice to watch something and be surprised.)

Oh yeah, and Ultrawoman actually gets a mask instead of some glasses and hair gel...

I heard that this season of Smallville mentions that Clark's hair can't be cut. Which keeps with Superman canon but begs the question of how he keeps it short (maybe it goes back in when he pumps his arm a certain way, like those dolls I can't remember the names of?)

The first thing I think of when I think about L&C is the episode where Lois is marrying Lex and she's standing in front of the mirror practising her name and says "Lois Lane-Kent" and I was 10 so this was the most Romantic Moment In The History Of The World OMG.
