doyleI have to see the original Batman series. I don't remember it being quite so ridiculous when I was little.
BATMAN: I did think it would all end differently, somehow less ignominiously. To drown in my own anniversary cake!

BRUCE: Most Americans don't realize what we owe to the ancient Incas. Very few appreciate they gave us the white potato and many varieties of Indian corn.
DICK: Now whenever I eat mashed potatos, I for one will think of the Incas.
*comes back to life just to die again*

GORDON: Precisely, Chief O'Hara. The moment we've dreaded for years has arrived. This time, we're going to have to solve a case... ourselves.
I seriously do not remembering it being quite this ridiculous. I do remember watching it religiously though.
