on 2004-11-24 08:39 am (UTC)Also, I am equally convinced that your computer admin guy has something like this in his shell resource file for his personal unix account, because I just found this exact line in one of my colleague's unix home directory .bashrc files:
alias copy='cp -i'
This makes it *seem* as if there is such a thing as a command called 'copy', for him, in a unix environment. SNEAKY.
Also, I assume you commented out this:
!perl -w
And commented back in this:
#!/usr/bin/perl/
Because how in the holy chicken's name you could run a perl program on a unix machine without doing so, is beyond me.
