katemonkey's running Secret Slasha - request two BtVS/Angel pairings and one wildcard character who can be slashed with anyone. Everybody should join, obviously, but I'd just like to make a shameless plea for f/f-type folks to sign up. Because it's all about me and what I'd like to read/write, of course. (That's the true meaning of Christmas. Clarence said so in It's a Wonderful Life. It was in the deleted scenes. You probably skipped over it.)

No problem there - I always seem to end up writing femslash in the Jossverse, because so few f/f pairings there squick me, whereas lots of m/m and a good few het ones do. It sorta goes Name: Lasair. Reads: mostly m/m. Writes: mostly f/f.

I read mostly het and write mostly subtext-y gen, I suppose. I think I counted once and had written almost exactly the same numbers of m/m slash, femslash and het. Surprised me, since I'd have said I don't write much m/m.

Of course, now I am tempted to put Jasmine down as my wildcard.
Which does have the benefit that the Cordelia/Fred I crave would suddenly become so much more likely.

I may rearrange things. I could put Angel as my wildcard and hope like hell people go with the LA options rather than the skeery Sunnydale ones (Xander? Just no. Oz? Never really been my thing. Snyder? Let's not go there), then Cordelia/Fred for main pairing and... who for secondary? That's an interesting question.

No matter what, I will always remember Belfast as The City Where I Was Terribly Terribly Thirsty And It Was Only Eleven PM And There Were No Drinks Anywhere, No Pubs, No Newsagents, No McDonalds, And I Was So Thirsty And So Angry About It That My Boyfriend Broke Up With Me.

Course, if you can find me the café with walls covered in Laurel and Hardy paintings I had such a delicious breakfast at the morning after, I'll remember a Happy Belfast Moment.
