Everybody should join, obviously, but I'd just like to make a shameless plea for f/f-type folks to sign up. Because it's all about me and what I'd like to read/write, of course. (That's the true meaning of Christmas. Clarence said so in It's a Wonderful Life. It was in the deleted scenes. You probably skipped over it.)

Yay! And if you're heading up this way we can show you the best... the least run down... the not entirely terrible bars in Belfast. And we have lots of sleeping space and DVDs.

No matter what, I will always remember Belfast as The City Where I Was Terribly Terribly Thirsty And It Was Only Eleven PM And There Were No Drinks Anywhere, No Pubs, No Newsagents, No McDonalds, And I Was So Thirsty And So Angry About It That My Boyfriend Broke Up With Me.

Course, if you can find me the café with walls covered in Laurel and Hardy paintings I had such a delicious breakfast at the morning after, I'll remember a Happy Belfast Moment.
