- Born and raised in Ontario, Canada.
- My main ship is and always will be Spuffy! But I also have a soft spot for Angelus/Buffy.. not Angel/Buffy as I find them boring, but I love me some Angelus! I also usually love fics in which Buffy or another scoobie is turned into a vampire. I also like some very very odd non-canon ships to balance out my Spuffy love.. like, Liz/Michael from Roswell, Buffy/Andrew from BtVS, Darla/Drucilla from AtS(although they might be canon after TGIQ), Sark/Syd from Alias.. and the list just goes on. I am a ship whore! ;)

I started Buffy with B/G, but now I'll read or write Giles with anybody. I suppose Giles/Sid would be my weirdest pairing, but I just did that for a challenge. Giles/penguin would be the oddest one that I really believe in. (*theirloveissofishy*) I also have an inexplicable fondness for Dawn/Ethan as developed by the Virtual Lunatics (http://www.virtualunatics.com/index.html).
For HP, I love Remus/Tonks or Remus/Hermione, but sadly there is very little of either of those that are well-written, so I'll pretty much read Remus with anybody.
- rec me something. I recently purchased the complete series of V on DVD, and I can't believe how slashy Donovan is. I'm seriously tempted to write this, but I only know of one other person who even remembers this series... Still, if you ever see it to rent, you should check it out!

-Whedonverse for sure (Spike/Angel and Wes/Gunn), the only het I consistently like in any fandom has been Spike/Dawn, but only if written from a proper evilista viewpoint and with sufficient plot. (And if anyone can rec me a long plotty IC Wes/Gunn I would love them, they are hard to find.)
also Harry Potter (though finding good long plotty stories amongst the trash is hard - I am still looking for a good novel-length story which features hot-heavy-and-unhealthy Harry/Draco and then fades into Snape/Harry with lots of plot, and good characterizations. *bangs head* Never going to happen.)
I did the LOTRips thing and read everything that I could get my hands on, but then kind of lost interest a few thousand fics later.
Read some QAF, but in general I find it to be rather lacking, especially as the majority of it seems to be just sex instead of story.
Love RPS and mythic slash (especially bible slash though I have only found it a couple times).

-Well my mother would say from hell and I should get on with getting back there. My residency of the last 4 years has been Detroit, though I am toying with heading somewhere else.

-Er refer to the fandom one above. Also, I love very plotty stories and generally dislike PWP (with some definite exceptions). I also like extended UST instead of the characters jumping into bed at the slightest provocation/altercation. Bleak post-apocalyptic, or angsty endings also make me hot. *hangs head* Oh the terrible things that I wish on these characters that I like so much.
-Plot kinks: in HP I like stories where Harry breaks and has to be put back together again, or is isolated from his annoying friends and does hard training. In LOTRips I like Orlijah gradual realistic first-time, and in Jossverse, I like both Spike and Angel wrestling with their inherent moral ambiguity.

I have been reading some fabulous books this summer:
Wicked (the story of the Wicked Witch of the West)
Glamorama (a subtly twisted tale from the writer of America Psycho - Bret Ellis, revolving around some fabulously shallow models in the 90's)
The Borne Identity and the Borne Supremacy (very different stories from the movies).
Pattern Recognition, by William Gibson - the easiest read of any of his books - high recommended
Cryptonomicon, which I am currently reading and everyone and their brother recommended to me.

Fic kinks: I have a thing for OT3s, although the only one I really 'ship in the Buffyverse is Wes/Faith/Lilah; I usually prefer canon pairings to non-canon ones; I like Connor but I'm not real fond of slash involving him; more people should write Dawn/Connor fic because that would make me happy; and more people should write Wes/Illyria because that would make me happy, too.
Recs: Eh, I'm usually one of the last people to discover something cool, so you've probably either seen anything I would rec to you or wouldn't care for it. *shrug*
Anything else: I spend more time online than is probably healthy. I've pretty much given up reading books in favor of reading fic. I collect fics I like in my memories, but I'm too shy to actually post recs. I tend to babble.

In Every Parting by Estepheia (http://www.estepheia.com/viewstory.php?sid=14) hits all my Angel/Xander kinks and adds a few I didn't realize I had.

Bigtime kinks are power play, coercion/almost!noncon/mindcontrol, student/teacher stuff, etc. I also love fluffly nonsense and AU epics.

A rec: The films of David DeCoteau. I mean stuff like Voodoo Academy, The Brotherhood (I've Been Watching You in the UK), Brotherhood II (Young Warlocks in the UK), Leeches!, Speed Demon, etc. The man makes these gay horror films that have things like gratuitous shower scenes with guys. Or a striptease involving a girl where the most revealing thing she takes off is her outer jacket. They're just wonderfully gay and have lots of pretty boys and hot guys and they're reccomended very highly. *g*
