Cruel Beauty

Cruel, thin, leather straps curving around his wrists, arms. Pulling them back behind him. Red welts on legs, buttocks. Wet cheeks, gagged mouth, flushed skin from stolen blood.

He refuses to close his blue eyes. Watches as the crop is raised and strikes again, again. No quiet gasps nor pleading moans.

Then, finally, he is broken. His eyes are no longer defiant, strong arms gather him close. Wounds licked, tears dried, binds loosened.

"You know why I beat you boy?" Angelus whispers on his neck, growling as he pushes his cock deep inside. "There's such beauty in breaking you down."

Dictionary Definition of Breatharian

A Breatharian is one who follows a diet in which no food (and possibly no water) is consumed. Breatharians claim that they are sustained by 'light energy' (or prana) alone, and that this 'diet' is an option for anybody, once the proper techniques for accessing it are made known.

Both current scientific theories about nutrition and generally accepted common sense indicate that a person who followed these diets would die of starvation or thirst.

Indeed, there is no accepted scientific evidence for any of the claims put forward by the breatharians. The only breatharian to undergo scientific scrutiny -- Ellen Greve (aka Jasmuheen) -- became ill and bowed out after a few days without food or water, citing stress as the cause for her symptoms.

The well-publicized deaths of Verity Linn and Lani Marcia Roslyn Morris whilst attempting to enter the breatharian "diet" have drawn further criticism of the movement.

The breatharian movement also suffered a credibility blow some years ago when another of its leading lights, Wiley Brooks, was caught sneaking into a hotel and ordering a chicken pie.

Let's see, what can I add to this spam fest? UCs you say? Oh well, I'm that odd chick in the corner of the fandom who ships B/Aus. Why? I'm not sure. I blame Nymue and Ducks and the fact that DB plays Angelus so much yummier than he ever did Angel (except for that time in Enemies, but it doesn't really count).

I 'shipped them at the same time that I half 'shipped B/S (because if I can have her with one evil vampire, I couldn't ignore the other, could I?) But then B/S became canon and it wasn't as fun anymore. Btw, if you have a good S2 B/S and/or B/Aus rec, throw it my way? Just... discreetly please. LOL
