Entertain me while I tackle inability to make words come out right and try to get some of these ficathon entries done... You could tell me what strange pairings you're into, since I've been thinking lots about unconventional shipping today. Or anything. Go on.
Also contemplating a game of tag where the first person writes a drabble - 100 words or less - with a pairing and a word or requirement at the end, and the next person writes that one. Might try to instigate a game of that later tonight if the ficathoning goes badly.

“I wasn’t that short,” Dawn muttered.
“You weren’t particularly tall,” Riley pointed out. “And I never dreamed you’d grow legs like that.”
“Oh. My. God. You’re hitting on me! Riley Finn, my sister’s ex-boyfriend… hitting on me.”
Riley blushed ferociously. “No!”
“Oh yes you are,” Dawn asserted. “It’s cool though. Skanky, but cool.”
“Cool?” he gasped out in relief.
“Yeah,” she assured him. “Kinda gives me hope for Spike.”
First Ever Drabble Attempt

“The Spike? As in ‘William the Bloody’ Spike?” the disbelieving voice asked again
“You know, you’re not normally this verbose.”
“Verbose?”
Xander sighed, “Ah, that’s better.” He then muttered “Too much time hanging ‘round Giles lately, giving me a vocabulary. Willow and Buffy are busy, so I get Giles-duty.” He sighed into the phone again “My rotten luck.”
“Are you seriously trying to tell me that Buffy slept with Spike?” Oz asked again, still disbelieving
“Christ on a bike, YES!” Xander took a deep breath “So, what’s up with you?”
