(Now I'm trying to find that interview where - Drew Goddard, was it? Said that the one thing they always, always wanted to do on Buffy was have Spike and Xander kiss and it just never happened. I'm sure I didn't dream that...)

And it's not even as if the WB can stop them, is it? They're already cancelled, the worst they could do is not air the finale. And I think at this point that would lead to the Battle of Levin's Deep.
