A futile hope...
Dec. 30th, 2003 11:02 pmDon't suppose anybody would be able to give me some clue on where to start on my coursework assignment -
"Write a computer program in C to investigate the evolution of single-celled automata."
Until I googled it I assumed automata were a type of amoeba...
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Curse astrophysics for requiring me to learn programming. And I have the horrid suspicion that Spike and Angel (the research computers in the Physics department) will make me learn to use Linux.

on 2003-12-30 03:18 pm (UTC)LOL - Well, I don't think they're real... at least, I'm not entirely sure they are. I do think they're mostly theory and conjecture at this rate, even if they aren't called 'nanites' specifically.

Hee! You're very welcome :D
