doyleDon't suppose anybody would be able to give me some clue on where to start on my coursework assignment -
"Write a computer program in C to investigate the evolution of single-celled automata."
Until I googled it I assumed automata were a type of amoeba...
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Curse astrophysics for requiring me to learn programming. And I have the horrid suspicion that Spike and Angel (the research computers in the Physics department) will make me learn to use Linux.
