Tomorrow's the 12th of July - anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. I know this means sod-all to anyone not a Northern Ireland Protestant but in my community it's essentially the 4th of July but far, far more irritating.
All I know about the Battle of the Boyne I just learned from you -- that it happened July 12. Now I'm curious -- what makes it irritating?
I've been feeling like a stalker reading your LJ and taking quizzes so I friended you, and now I feel more respectable. Hope you don't mind a strange new friend -- and that your July 12th allows time for flash-fic completion.
