This is puzzling
Jul. 11th, 2003 04:33 pmSo far my foray into B/X land has turned up some good stuff. One thing that's puzzling me - I expected the Spike and Angel bashing (I don't know about B/A, but poor Xander gets a rough time in too many Spuffy fics). And I quickly realised that Anya bashing is almost inevitable too. And I can understand why Willow, Riley and Cordelia would get a hard time.
But Oz? Why bash poor Oz? What did he ever do to threaten B/X?
I need to work on my slashfic. Since
_flaming_june_ has the masterlist up, I guess we're allowed to say what we got? I have to write Angel/Lindsey, in the truck, set at the end of Dead End. I've watched the episode a few times this week and... my god, the vibes. Angel telling him "it must be hard on you. Losing Darla... and me, in a way" during the charged car journey is just delicious. Theirloveissocanon.
I'm on one of my many "trawling for gold" excursions through ff.net and other places today, so if anyone's got fanfic lurking around that I probably haven't seen before, feel free to pimp. I'm shitty at giving feedback, but I'll take a look.
lasheremaleth's comment to my earlier post led to me finding a writer whose stuff I like a lot, but who I'd never encountered before.

Re: Track Record
on 2003-07-12 04:30 am (UTC)The Angel/Lindsey thing had to be intentional - I mean, I think Christian Kane kept getting asked about it in interviews so they were at least aware of it...
