marymac's boyfriend David sent her an email while plainly under the influence of too much alcohol. On my request she posted it to her Live Journal. I love his misuse of big words that he wouldn't attempt while sober.
Onto the couples meme:
TV:
Joey and Pacey, Dawson's Creek: I was madly in love with Pacey at 15. I stopped watching because I was convinced Joey would never get over Dawson.
Mulder and Scully: I liked the UST for a while. My interest petered out around 5th season, and I stopped watching.
Stuart and Vince, Queer as Folk: These two defined One True Pairing for me. I was (and still am) so emotionally invested in these two living happily ever after. For a long time I despised Nathan (the Justin character), even though his relationship with Stuart is nothing like the Brian/Justin one (for one thing they never have sex with each other after the first episode).
Buffy and Spike, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Seeing Once More With Feeling before any other episode can do that to a girl.

Rhett and Scarlett, Gone With the Wind: Just epic.
Jack and Tyler, Fight Club: I know, not traditionally a couple. But they'd be hot.
Most people seem to have Bridget/Mark on their list. I'd feel hypocritical, sinceconnorbeast and I are the only people on Earth who, if we were Bridget Jones, would have gone for cheating bastard Daniel over nice guy Mark.

Buzz and Supergirl: Hmm, the blond, British, snarky, black-leather-duster-wearing demon who's forced to fight on the side of good. The small blonde girl who's secretly a superhero. Formerly arch-nemeses, they grudgingly work together and may have some attraction... no, no clue why I like these two. (I won't mention the issue where they nearly get married under a spell)
Adam and Julia, Midnight Mass: one of the websites describes it as "If Mulder and Scully got married and started their own paranormal private investigation firm, the result might be something like Midnight Mass." Yep, pretty much it.
David and Katchoo and Francine, Strangers in Paradise: I get very confused over this love triangle, because while I want Katchoo with David I like her relationship with Francine too (and the David/Francine relationship), so they should all live together and have a big bed.

Eponine and Marius, Les Miserables: I hated Cosette and loved Eponine. I'm still incredibly bitter that she died getting back to Marius on the barricade...
