Spent an enjoyable hour talking fanfic with my connorbeast. He's an evil plot-bunny machine; by the end of our chat we'd fleshed out the outlines for both a Connor/Dawn fic (because we want to know if it's possible to write one that stays true to the characters) and a Kennedy story. Because she's our girl.

ETA: I stand corrected on canon re: Kennedy's brother. The line about him is indeed in the Killer in Me shooting script but not the broadcast episode. Some wise person clearly noticed that she was only supposed to have a sister.

- the Jasmine/First Evil piece that's half done. connorbeast says the First comes across as the evil Bridget Jones, which suits me.
- the Andrew-sees-dead-people post Chosen story I want to do
- Five Things that Never Happened to Kennedy, or something similar
- mebbe some Connor/Dawn
- drabbles! drabbles by the barrel-load!

in one episode she only has a half-sister and two episodes later she has a brother?

She has a brother? *blinks*

I can't check the transcript as the site is down, but I'm fairly sure she says in Killer in Me that she has a brother who's vegan. Since she's saying this as why her parents are okay with her sexuality she could be joking, but it's hugely dumb if so (why not say her half-sister's a vegan rather than inventing a brother?)

I don't remember it being in the episode, but if it's in the transcript .. I'm never sure. Do those count as canon? I guess it depends how far along the production process they are. Shooting scripts, yes. Early drafts, no. That kind of thing. Maybe that's why the line was cut in the end, though. It was an early script, and someone said "hey, she has a half-sister, not a brother", and the writer said, "ah, screw that then" and cut it out.
