been a long time...

I think that's the longest I've gone without net access in the last couple of years. Even when I was in London last summer I was sneaking off to a cybercafe most nights. Curse the university libraries and their summer opening hours.

I've been doing nothing all week. Mainly watching videos. Gone With the Wind was much loved by everyone in our house, except that two camps have formed of "Rhett and Scarlett got back together after the end of the movie" and "no they didn't, because she's a selfish bitch who doesn't deserve him". I'm staying out of it (secretly I'm in the first camp), but it's fun to sit back and watch the feathers fly. It's like Buffy fandom in microcosm.

Everyone else is going to a Therapy concert tonight, so I think I'll work on my flashfic. I know the plot I want, but I may have to switch to my backup story idea if I can't manage it in 1000 words.

The bastards at Xtravision turned down my job application. Poor me. I desperately need cash.

GWTW! Whee! And as a member of the first camp myself, I recommend reading Ripley's "Scarlett"... the GWTW sequel... angst you can cut with something not sharp. :)

Did you get your package yet? Did you? Did you? ::chewing nails::

Crap, I should have sent it airmail instead of ground. Damn expensive postal service.

Not yet - don't worry, my country's postal service can be craptacular at times, it'll get here at its own pace...
