I wish all this could have made it onto the screen. There's at least 10% extra Holden Knox for your buck! And my slowly reviving A/C shippery heart loved Angel's worry about Cordy in the scene that got cut.

Oh, I watched the episode again with marymac. Two things:
1. The English guy (Rutherford! Bwa!) cracked me up. His accent just makes everything sound like innuendo. "Will that be translated or Sanskrit?" came off as "do you like it firm and fruity, sir? Do you? Ooh! Suits you, sir!"
2. I'm so intrigued by what offer they made Gunn. Mary thinks they let him keep the panther. It's good for future reference to know that her price for signing on with the evil firm would be a really cool pet...

ETA: 2nd best script direction ever, right after the infamous "Angel eyefucks Lindsey":

Hee. Much with the hee, especially the A moment has passed. Everyone's standing more or less frozen, staring at Lilah. Our endless opening credits over this. No one speaks. This is weird and un-TV like. But it's covered. Wide shots, two shots, close ups. It goes on for a long time. All the way up to the "directed by" credit. 'cause that would be funny. Just a'cuttin' back and forth. Until finally, the last credit, then: and the Angel looks from coma-coma-coma-coma-coma Cordel-ia to Connor.

Just one question, though. Which episode's shooting script did the eyefucking of Lindsey occur in? As that did occur many, many times on the show, and I'd like to read and go, 'hee'.
