I'm watching a 70s sitcom called Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads (and loving it, so thanks to the anon on fandomsecrets who posted about it) and loved this little exchange, as the two main characters wake up in a police cell:

Bob: What happened?!
Terry: Well... do you remember a police box and a strange Doctor...?

My show, it gets everywhere.

I only saw a snippet of it on a DW retrospective, but is it true that the TV Movie was namechecked on the sitcom "Men Behaving Badly"?

Hmm - I'm not sure. I've seen all of Men Behaving Badly but not since I started watching Who and I would have missed the reference (it'd fit with the show, though, there's a whole episode based around the four main characters watching the Star Trek episode City on the Edge of Forever)
