Old School Doctor Who Episodes Love Meme

I've run memes like this before for companions and for ships (and I'm trying to dig up links to those) and decided it might be fun to try one for all the episodes of old school Doctor Who. In the comments are threads for every story from An Unearthly Child to The TV Movie (actually, The Curse of Fatal Death, because I couldn't leave Lumley Doc out); reply to these comments with what you loved about the episode, whether it's favourite lines, moments, squee for the rubbish dinosaurs, character love, shippiness, screencap picspam, or just 'best episode ever'. No harshing others' squee, please - there are 160 serials linked, there must be some you loved... Loving on stories generally derided by fandom is positively encouraged.

The scene where Tegan gets possessed (after getting leered at by a white clown figure in a horribly washed-out world) still creeps me out a bit.

Fandom? Where's my Five/Todd and Five/Possessed!Tegan fic? I know you're hiding somewhere.

Possessed!Tegan is SO HOT I can barely stand it. Sitting in a tree, throwing apples, with her mouth all made up? OH MY GOD.

Also a damn cracking good episode all around.

One of my favourites, a really quite fascinating story. And I especially love the whole nightmare-ish sequence before the Mara takes control of Tegan.

So amazingly creepy! Tegan's freaky hallucinations genuinely send a shiver down my spine. Hindel is gloriously unhinged. Were it not for the dodgy papier mache Mara, this'd be almost perfect!

The sequence between Tegan and Durkka (sp?) in the dark places were very spooky. Bordering on Sapphire and Steele territory.

I even like the fake jungle in this serial. It adds to the strangeness of it all.
