I've run memes like this before for companions and for ships (and I'm trying to dig up links to those) and decided it might be fun to try one for all the episodes of old school Doctor Who. In the comments are threads for every story from An Unearthly Child to The TV Movie (actually, The Curse of Fatal Death, because I couldn't leave Lumley Doc out); reply to these comments with what you loved about the episode, whether it's favourite lines, moments, squee for the rubbish dinosaurs, character love, shippiness, screencap picspam, or just 'best episode ever'. No harshing others' squee, please - there are 160 serials linked, there must be some you loved... Loving on stories generally derided by fandom is positively encouraged.

For some help navigating, this wiki page has the serials in order.

If any have been missed, feel free to stick them on at the end - I've just realised The Myth Makers isn't there...

This might just be the best Classic Who story ever. It's in Paris, it's got Julian Glover as the bad guy in a very sketchy green-jello mask, a PI who can't stop slugging people, prehistoric Earth, the explanation for the development of human life, and seven Mona Lisas! With a visit to Leonardo Da Vinci (sort of)! And John Cleese at the end! I love it unabashedly and believe everyone else should, too! :)

Duggan's up there with my beloved Ross in the hallowed ranks of 'why, why were we cheated out of seeing them as a companion?' Because Duggan punching a Sea Devil would be the greatest thing ever. Duggan/Donna, anyone?

I showed this story to my sister and her first comment afterwards was "why isn't Duggan a Time Lord? Then he could be in every episode."

God, I love this serial so bad. It's beautiful and wonderful and just hearing the background music puts a smile on my face.

Also, Duggan is made of awesome and you can't persuade me that he DIDN'T go on lots of awesome adventures with Four and Romana between the second to last scene and the last scene.

The Episode 2 cliffhanger, where Captain Tancredi makes his appearance.

This was the first classic serial I saw, and I love it to bits. Four & Romana on honeymoon, spaghetti-headed aliens, the many Mona Lisas, & Duggan and his world saving punches! What's not to love here? :)

This was my first ever Classic Who serial, and what a way to start! It's a great all around story, and Romana is brilliant. :D

"Do you know what I don't understand?"
"I expect so."

Oh, Duggan and Romana. In my alt!verse, Romana lives, and Duggan is her companion FOREVER.
