Old School Doctor Who Episodes Love Meme

I've run memes like this before for companions and for ships (and I'm trying to dig up links to those) and decided it might be fun to try one for all the episodes of old school Doctor Who. In the comments are threads for every story from An Unearthly Child to The TV Movie (actually, The Curse of Fatal Death, because I couldn't leave Lumley Doc out); reply to these comments with what you loved about the episode, whether it's favourite lines, moments, squee for the rubbish dinosaurs, character love, shippiness, screencap picspam, or just 'best episode ever'. No harshing others' squee, please - there are 160 serials linked, there must be some you loved... Loving on stories generally derided by fandom is positively encouraged.

If any have been missed, feel free to stick them on at the end - I've just realised The Myth Makers isn't there...

I found the episode 2 cliffhanger, with Susan looking out from the TARDIS into the storm, spine-tingling.

We only watched the first appearance of the Daleks, to compare it to the same (!) scene from the movie.
... in black and white, filmed as if live, in tiny little studio for tiny little screen, TV Doctor Who is still scarier and better.

Fluid link. Oh, Doctor. And Susan answering back to the Daleks because she can't write that fast! And Barbara borrowing trousers!

And really, what I really notice and love is how happy Susan is, throughout, to have people interacting with her, and paying attention to her. Her and the Doctor giggling over his scheme to thwart the Daleks is awesome. The thing where they steal a Dalek shell is horrifying/frightening/and hilarious by turns. And I love Susan looking totally delighted and awed and gooey over being completely lost in that cloak.
