I've seen people asking for requests for ficlets because they're going to post one a day in December, advent-calendar style; what with yuletide and the classicdw_fic ficathon (and my first academic conference in December) there's no way I'd have the time for that, but I was thinking of a variation - every day in December before Christmas doing something for a different comm, recs or picspam or a love/positive meme or discussion topic. I'd have no problem finding enough different comms for Doctor Who alone - empireoftraken! schoolforgirls! tardis_crossing! sjadventures! And many more, which are now scribbled down in a list at the back of my lab book. Hm. Will think on this, as more variety in fandom's always a good thing.

timeslipping I can do, definitely - hmm, dunno about earthshocked. I don't dislike Adric, I just can't think of a lot to say about him... although there are a couple of stories in the SHort Trips anthologies about him that I really loved, maybe I should write up a review of those.

Oh, this is a TERRIFIC idea (and I am super happy to see schoolforgirls and tardis_crossing on there, thank you!) So many comms are really great places but don't get a ton of traffic, and this will do so much good for them!

I've had a 'Zoe breaks the school's boiler, very cold hijinks ensue' fic in my head since you started the comm, I need to get it out of there sometime *g*
