:p I have a special and strange love for that song. Me and my friend Glenn dancing to Sk8er Boi is a sight to behold. Glenn looks like Caleb, dresses like Spike, and in his own words "dances like Wesley" (he's not that bad).

Sniff... but yes, most people hate that song. A lot of my friends claim it's their trigger song (as in, someone sings it and they'll turn into a snarling murderous killer).

Oh yeah, big time. Just for laughs, you should check out the lj community anti_avril. They love hating Avril like Buffy loves making speeches.

I actually *like* some 2 of Avril's songs, "Complicated" and that other one, "I'm with you" or something. But Avril herself just irritates the crap out of me, and "Skater Boy" (I refuse to spell it wrong) just makes me go ::shudder:: like Mr Burns.

That's totally my sob song, too! Although (and I once harassed kimberly_a about this same thing) it's actually a song by Randy Newman (Sarah McLachlan just sings it - beautifully, I might add). I have to pimp Randy whenever I can - he's under-appreciated.
