yuletide are brainstorming which obscure fandoms toa dd to the ginormous list this year. I can't believe it's that time again. It's always my favourite fandom challenge. Last year I wrote fic for the Reeves and Mortimer remake of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased); I hadn't seen it since transmission but fell victim to my usual habit of 'volunteering to write all characters in any fandom where I've seen or read the source material, even once', so I rewatched it on DVD and fell utterly in love. Yeah, it's a really dodgy British sci-fi remake of an equally dodgy 60s show, but there's a reason I'm a Doctor Who fan, y'know. And to prove that Britain really does only have 10 actors, almost everyone from Doctor Who's in it. Including David Tennant. In a wedding dress.

I've now seen Hairspray... an embarrassing number of times. <3 Corny. And Maybelle, too. And Tracy/Link, of course, and Penny and Seaweed... I'm going to end up just asking for anyone and everyone from Hairspray, I fear.

Hairspray rocks like a rocking thing. I actually find myself checking the musicals section in ff.net just to see if anything good is posted. I've glomped hard onto this movie :D
