I'm probably the very last person in DW/Torchwood fandom to realise this but... in Boomtown, Margaret says she landed in "a skip on the Isle of Dogs". It's only just occurred to me: that's Canary Wharf. She ended up near Torchwood Tower with its dimensional rift (which was the thing that pulled her off course?)

If that was intentional, that's pretty clever.

(I only spotted this because I'm marathoning QI and they were talking about Canary Wharf. Stephen Fry makes me smrt.)

ETA: Speaking of QI - when did Alan Davies get hot? When did this happen?! I'm still iffy on him ever playing the Doctor, as it's often suggested he might - because, like Owen from Torchwood, I find his voice inexplicably but persistently irritating - but if they ever want another male companion... (People on the OG keep suggesting Chiwetel Ejiofor - the Operative from Serenity - as the Eleventh Doctor, to which I say Dude, Yes. Or as a Time Lord, at least. He'd be a fab Rassilon.)

when did Alan Davies get hot? When did this happen?! When he started dating Julia Sawhala? Maybe - and no I can't pronounce her name. Or maybe when he started flirting for pay with Stephen Fry.

The next Doctor? I'm hoping there will be one. As for Chiwetel he's a damn fine actor but if we're blacking up the doctor I think I'd prefer Adrian Lester. For the sex appeal damn it.
