Anyone who's registered on Outpost Gallifrey: I love the motivational posters thread. I love it like I love this Kirk/Spock vid. And I love that like the good sort of burning.

ETA: Oh, Youtube, you're determined to drag me kicking and screaming back to Trek fandom. Knights of the Round Table is just joy, and Is This the Way to Amarillo simultaneously made me sporfle at how much of Voyager seemingly consisted of 'Janeway walks along a corridor' and made me want to read some Janeway/Seven (erm, of Nine. Not the Sylv McCoy Doctor.)

Dagnabbit, you're going to make me get a logon ID for OG, aren't you?

*enables* The OG's vaste and frequently mad and infuriating and a bit scary. But it's worth it for Sparacus alone...

It's about all I can do to keep up with LJ's whofen; I figured that dealing with OG would be like drinking from a firehose. A firehose of Pure Crazy.

Is Sparacus the one who hates Tennant so much? Does he also have a "No Gurlz" sign on his fandom?

Yeah dramatic corridor walking :)

And Janeway/7of9 is love+hotness. (Though I don't think I've actually read any worth recommending.)

*snerks at the Amarillo vid*

Because, yes, an awful lot of Voyager seemed to take place in corridors.

What's Ten trying to do to that dog in the second picture down?

I just kind of wanted to point out that the Star Trek vids that are making the rounds were put up on YouTube without the vidder's permission and have caused her enormous, enormous headaches. She's a dear friend of mine, and it's made me sick to see this being perpetuated everywhere, and the trouble it's caused her.

I wasn't aware. Are there any legit links to the vids?

There are, but unfortunately, I think it only adds to the burden right now to give them out. She had to put a password back on (she had taken it off quite some time ago) her site and she's giving it out only to people after some consideration. The saddest part is that the vids look like ass on YT, and those are the ones getting passed around -- she is the best vidder I know, and her vids are always perfect and gorgeous. Which means I guess that I treasure my dvd copies all the more.

she is a lot more gracious about all this than I can ever be. Her feeling was that once things are out, they're out; unfortunately, the situation was made worse when well-meaning friends pounded the dickwad who did this, and she was out of the country, and then she got home to all these "bandwidth exceeded" messages about the server being overloaded and shut down because the dickwad put her link up after people called him on it, and then it got metafiltered, and... At this point she assumes there isn't anyone in the world who hasn't seen the vids.

Could you tell her how beautiful her editing is for me, please?

I forgot how much make-up they wore in the original series. Dude, those videos are so cool. I wish I could vid at ALL.

I wish I knew who the original vidder was for that. They are genius.

OG is more cracktastic than I gave it credit for. :D
