My brother's boss's wife had a baby girl tonight. I just heard my mum on the phone downstairs asking after the baby's name: "Billie? Oh, is she named after the girl in Doctor Who?"

It is weird when mundies know your fandom. Especially parental mundies.

Reminds me of when the daughter of a woman at work had a baby a little while ago and called it Tegan. "Oh," says me, "is she a Doctor Who fan?" And this woman got really insulted. Apparently her daughter's a total charver and she thought I was taking the piss. Not my fault her grandkid's named after a companion *grin*
