Jun. 16th, 2006 04:28 pmHome early, because my work had their annual conference, which for most people meant listening to hours of panels on debt and repossession, and for me meant reading a Doctor Who book at the empty reception desk. My mama didn't raise no fool.

Ask Me My Fandom Opinion
How this works:
1. Ask me one fandom-related question in the comments. This can be fandom specific, general, or about fandom/lj stuff/fic writing/etc. in general. Ask anything...I'm really not bothered.
2. ONE DAMN QUESTION.-- Nah, you can ask more than one, but I might or might not answer it. [I will, because I'm odd like that. Go ahead.]
3. That's it. It can be as normal or odd as you like.

on 2006-06-16 05:54 pm (UTC)I am shamefully lacking in Two episodes, so I can't really compare it to the rest of his run, but The Mind Robber is one of my favourite pieces of television ever, let alone DW. Just so genuinely strange and spooky and able to tap into all the stuff that you don't think is scary until they show you it is. Which is indeed what GitFace does so brilliantly.

ALSO: favourite villain from the new canon?

on 2006-06-16 04:46 pm (UTC)Favourite villain: hrm. The Daleks and Cybermen don't really count... The Slitheen were a bit rubbish, but I liked Margaret a lot in Boomtown. The Editor would probably rate higher with me if Simon Pegg hadn't been much scarier as corporate evil in Black Books. Does Adam count? I <3 Adam.
