Half an hour ago...

doyle: Woe is me. I wish I had some reason not to go to my next lecture.
All the lights in the Physics building suddenly die.

So here I am, legitimately skiving off for once. And my report and assignment are both done and handed in. Go me! Though they're both short. Like, really really short. I'm hoping to get by with the excuse that at the start of the year we were told to be concise in our writeups.

Now... I love my Connor very dearly, but I have to agree with Glenn that the boy seems to be remarkably deluded. There are moments when it looks like he has flashes of worry over whether Jasmine, say, eating people is wrong, but it passes fast. I keep getting mental images of Connor's thought process, and all I'm hearing is him humming the I Dream of Jeannie theme. Maybe I've been watching The Simpsons too much.

Angel loves Wesley, by the way. Yes. Yes, he does.

The insect guy was the Master, right? Or did he just sound really like him?

Weird, weird vibes from Connor and Jasmine, though weirdly Jasnor (Consmine?) doesn't squick me as much as ConCord did in Rain of Fire.

The episode wasn't terrific, though I was distracted by Glenn and connorbeast MSTing it. "Wanna be my son, Matthew? I had a son, but I beat him half to death, mwahaha!"

There can't be only two more episodes to go...

Laugh, cough, cough, laugh some more. Now, you know I'm a rabid bitch and usually I won't take no Connor ribbing, but this was just a perfect reflection of my own feelings towards my boy in certain...ah, situations. It's All Elevator Music, All The Time. "La la la la la - Who me? I don't reject love. No, sir."

"Wanna be my son, Matthew? I had a son, but I beat him half to death, mwahaha!"
"No! Don't be afraid of my vampire visage. I'm a good guy. Oh, this? It's just my son's blood, nothing to worry about. Come here, little boy."

Angel loves Wesley, by the way. Yes. Yes, he does.
But NOT as much as Wesley loves Connor.

My our Connor is so pretty but sometimes a little... vacant? Blindly accepting? But he was tied to a tree, so I can forgive him anything up to and including genocide.
