Anyone who I was on AIM with last night when I suddenly disappeared: sorry, wireless internet died and didn't resurrect itself till this afternoon. NTL seems to like to keep us on our toes that way, considering how often we're unable to access eBay, Yahoo, Google and hotmail.

Oh, not sure if I've plugged some DW comms lately for people new to the fandom: [livejournal.com profile] who_daily's the newsletter, [livejournal.com profile] leftbehind__ is for all things Mickey (who is, indeed, so fine he blows my mind) and [livejournal.com profile] who_otp (mine) is for any pairing that isn't Nine or Ten with Rose or Jack. Oh, and there's [livejournal.com profile] dw_slash, have a guess what that's for...

Have you seen The Tempest? He runs around in nothing but a bad wig, gold paint and a small thong.

Seriously (http://community.livejournal.com/dixonites/3062.html)

Sadly, no. The DVDs of the BBC Shakespeare plays are hideously over priced here... which is frustrating because I badly want to see "The Tempest", Derek Jacobi's "Hamlet", and "Romeo and Juliet" where Jacqueline Hill plays Lady Capulet (she'll be the best Lady Capulet ever, I know, because dude... she's Jacqueline "Barbara Wright" Hill!)

And OMFG, there is a David Dixon LJ comm and no one told me!?!? *runs off to join*

:D

I'm re-encoding the tempest at the moment (my copy is 742mb) When I get it down a bit to a saner size, I'll pop it up on SendSpace and share it about :)

I love that version of Romeo & Juliet...Alan Rickman in tights :D (Ryecart also ended up in DW later on IIRC.)

Dixon comm isn't that old, we started it up earlier this year..

Ah, good. Now I don't feel hideously out of the loop...
