It's a slow day at work. On slow days my job description amounts to "write Doctor Who fanfic on my laptop, make sure printer doesn't stop working/get nicked/spontaneously turn into a bowl of geraniums."

There's really no point to this post. I'm just lonely at work and periodically sneaking off to read bits of the Doctor Who Minor Characters ficathon, which has produced some amazing stories that make me fret and feel very inadequate about mine.

ETA: in a fit of industrial guilt I just went and asked my immediate boss if there wasn't anything I should be doing. She thought about it and said "sit there and look pretty?"

Ha, I was doing that *anyway*.
