For the Lost fans on my flist: how old were Boone and Shannon when their parents got married? It was Boone's mother married Shannon's father, right? And was Boone a lifeguard pre-island or was that something

connorbeast made up to better facilitate our "what we'd do if we were on the island" fantasies? (Pretend to drown all day so Boone would have to save us. If you were wondering. Also, making fun of Jack and being impressed at Hurley's cool.)

I need to not sign up for ficathons when I haven't seen any episodes more than once, haven't seen half the episodes at all, haven't read any fanfic and have only the scantiest idea of the backgrounds...

I second the ages. I think you are correct. Also, Boone was a lifeguard preIsland, or so he says as he flails around and nearly drowns trying to "rescue" someone.

Boone was a lifeguard pre-island, I seem to recall. No idea about the age of the not-really-biological siblings, but I'm cheering on any S/B fic of yours--pairings of this acronym work for me, obviously. *g*

Hee. I am indeed, and I'm so glad I wasn't asked to write Sawyer or Jack or anyone since Shannon, Boone and Locke are the only characters I think I even have a shot at getting right...

Boone was ten and Shannon was eight when her dad married his mom. He did work as a lifeguard at some point but he was working for his mother's wedding business at the time of the crash.
