Apr. 23rd, 2005 08:22 pmTake it as read that if it didn't look too annoying all of this would be in caps and eng with OMG, because I am in an excited state:
- They blew up 10 Downing Street!
- They fucking blew up 10 Downing Street!
- Going to war under false pretenses for fuel! Massive weapons of destruction capable of launching in 45 seconds! "why would anybody believe that?" "they did last time." *DEAD*
- Harriet Jones PM!
- The Doctor asked Mickey to be a companion!
I feel dirty, because while I have very little shame in shipping Nine/Rose - sorry, Nos - Nine/Mickey feels so wrong. Yet so right. Except I am torn because I was convinced Jackie and Mickey were going to have a shag after they escaped to his flat. Other OTP!
And Doctor/Harriet 4eva OMG! "I think I like you, Harriet Jones." "I think I like you too." Harriet is lovely, and I am only sad she can't be a companion, because she'd be perfect. Oh well, I suppose being Prime Minister is more important, and she issues in Britain's golden age, where there are cottage hospitals for all.
ETA: I forgot the most important bit, d'oh. Rose promises to return 10 seconds after she left. She doesn't. The Tardis going wrong again, or does something happen that she can't come back? I love Jackie walking away, not even looking surprised, while Mickey stays and waits.
White texted, just in case. Highlight to read.
OMGWTFDALEK
And dude, Todd from Coronation Street's in it? I wonder if he'll have to do an American accent.

on 2005-04-23 09:41 pm (UTC)They said she was married to her job, and she never disputed it. It was true, anyway, to a large extent; running the country didn't leave much time for personal relationships. She had better things to worry about than trying to have a private life. And really, the way the tabloids were these days, that was probably for the best.
So when she told interviewers that she wasn't looking for a man, she was telling the truth.
When she looked - and she did, wherever she was – it wasn't a man she was searching for.
After all, he wasn't human.
