Mum update & Buffy stuff

doyleAs I said in the comments, my mum called the clinic and they said the pictures just didn't turn out right and she needs to have the scan done again. Which she's not looking forward too, but at least it's nothing serious. Love and hugs to all who commented.

connorbeast. And I wanted to see this week's Buffy and Angel. Shallow, shallow comments below...
Definitely not the best episode of the season, but I liked it. Jasmine's true face was grotesque, though Gina Torres was inspired casting (didn't she just come off as goddesslike?) But I can never forgive her for the shirt Angel was wearing. To quote Kevin, "I think we've just learned that Gap is the ultimate evil". Very sweet to see both Angel and Connor happy for a change, though.
Wesley's cheery "she's right here!" to Fred made me laugh a lot. I love AD's line delivery on that.
I still have a tiny spark of A/C hope, because I liked the scene of Angel visiting her. Yes, I'm deluded and probably insane. Like Fred!
Jasmine is a slasher! She wants Wes and Gunn to fuck each other! Now that's a deity I can get behind, especially if she talks Angel into joining them...
First off, and most importantly... Spaith, Spaith, Spaith! One of my favourite scenes ever. My god, if those two got onscreen with Wesley, I think my house would burn down from the sheer heat (spinoff Joss, please? It's so wrong to hope Eliza Dushku's new show gets cancelled...)
It did make CB and myself laugh our asses off at the pose Spike was adopting when the camera first swung around to him. We had to stop the VCD for a few minutes just to MST (and for me to fan myself because... whew)
(As Spike) "Why hello, gentle viewer. You interrupted me on my Playgirl shoot."
"Please tell me this is common to all the boys of Aurelius. I want Wes to walk in on Angel when he's looking like that." "So long as the Master never comes back and tries it." "Come on, he'd be hot."
"Date Planner: 2pm to 4pm. Shirtless lounging. With cigarette? Possibly."
"Where is Andrew and his camera now, dammit?!"
Loved loved loved the shot of Buffy walking in on Spike and Faith loafing all over Spike's bed, looking dishevelled and smoking cigarettes. And Spike's "aren't you usually at work about this time?" Hee. I could watch a whole season of Spike & Faith just lounging around looking like porn stars and talking to each other.
On other stuff - I squeed at Faith's Andrew-written history. I knew about the thing with her fighting Spock, but it was still hilarious. And Andrew's "Silly, silly Amanda!" cracked me up. Ooh, and I got my Xandrew moment! I adored Andy's little whine of "Xanderrrr..." and Xan instantly defending his man. Theirloveissocanon. Andrew looked so so pretty when he cried at the speech, too.
Xander... :sobs: Knew it was coming, but still hard to watch. I could have done without the "go for the eyes" anvils. Would it kill Joss to have a scene with Andrew visiting him in the hospital, huh? Would it?
Caleb is Glenn. Once I get a better quality picture of Glenn I'm putting it up, because it's freaking me out.
When Caleb was in the vineyard with the girl, I joked that it was the FE roleplaying. Then she morphed to Buffy and good ole Cal started listing his requests for the next go round. I so called that! That provided endless amusement.
The evil SIT with the awful accent is dead. Allow me a small smirk.
