House says of Chase's dad, dying of cancer: "[if it was my father] I'd want to know." Stacy comes to town and it's so important for Wilson to see her he cancels a speech at a major conference. Sooo - was she really just visiting an old friend, or did she need to talk to an oncologist?
Chase turned in the emetic medicine. Ouch. Why do I get the feeling he's Vogler's brand new eyes and ears in the differential diagnostics department? (Also, House risks his career to save the life of a presumably very rich and/or influential businesswoman. That could be handy if Vogler tries to use his money as a reason for the board to fire House.)
I adore Cameron more than should be humanly possible, and slowly falling for Cuddy (she and House have slept together? Maybe? Huh.) I'm actually coming around to the possibility of House/Cameron, but I still think she'd be nuking her career and that she believes he's a tragic lost soul in need of the redemptive love of a good woman. Meaning there's a danger he'd strangle her ten minutes into the first date.
Vogler: [threatens to fire Cuddy and Wilson]
Me: Oh, you did not just go there. House has probably *killed* people for less.
I love my show.

The whole exchange of threats at the end, with Baba O'Reilly interruption and all, was one of the best TV scenes I can remember in fifty years of watching way too much TV; what's Vogler going to do if push comes to shove: "great big guy picking on a cripple" is just not a great subtext for any hearing.
Julia, loving the cleverness of this series

It's a very good point. I guess it comes down to how much the hospital needs his money (I'm boggled at the idea any hospital would make someone with no medical training chairman of a hospital board, no matter how large a donation he gave, but I know very little of these things.)

Huh. That's an interesting theory!

Dude, I kind of WANT Vogler to try to fire Wilson so we can see House fight to keep him there, cause he totally would. Also, it's not like if Vogler fires Cuddy or Wilson they'll actually leave the show. So yes, I wouldn't mind seeing where that goes.

Me too. I think it's the one thing that would get him coming down on Vogler like a ton of bricks.

Ooooooh! I didn't even think of that! That's a *very* interesting theory.
I love our show, too.
