ETA: Oh, I watched the first three episodes of House. I love this show. I'm just nervous that House is going to have a relationship with Cuddy whereas I think that, like Bernard from Black Books, he should never have a functional relationship with anyone.

House/Bernard would be a happy orgy of misanthropy, come to think of it.

I've heard good things about House, but sadly, it's on at the same time as Veronica Mars for me. And Veronica Mars is great. Plus, Alyson Hannigan is a few episodes, and may continue on to next year. You should look into it. :)

Oh, I watched the first three episodes of House. I love this show. House is very enjoyable and I wouldn't worry about House getting into a relationship with anyone except his pills. And you'll be pleased to know that Fox just greenlighted a second season. Woo hoo!
