I was weak and watched the new Russell T. Davies Dr. Who. I should say I've seen about 2 episodes of Who ever, never read any of the books, have no idea of the continuity. Loved the episode, but I'm very ashamed of myself and I think most of the right-thinking fandom proper would lynch me because -

I'm so one of the fangirls they're frightened of acquiring over on Gallifrey One because, yes, I think Christopher Eccleston's Doctor is The Sex and I am shipping Doctor/Rose like crazy and dying for fanfic.

:hangs head:

Okay, I've only seen five minutes of the most recent episode of Alias, but all episodes should contain Sark macking on Sydney-dressed-as-Lauren while Vaughn watches and broods. I stopped the episode because I want to pretend Sark and Syd really do have kinky sex For the Sake of the Mission (as Vaughn listens in and broods). Plus I mentally replaced Sark with Ben Affleck, and then I chuckled jovially.

Oh, those wacky spies.

Trust me, fanfic writers have tried to pair the Doctor off with companions before.

Then again some of his companions were pretty hot e.g. Peri *drools*

Please allow a stranger to assure you there is no shame in loving Dr. Who. I was that way about Tom Baker, who had many fangirls. I remember reading a fanfic (and it may have been my first one) called, "Dr. Blue" and it was pwp about him and one of his assistants. Dr. Who. ::sigh::

I wish I could see Christopher Eccleston's version.

Psst, do you have a fast connection? There are torrents all over the place...

I've read a bit of Tom Baker's autobiography. I believe there's a bit about having sex with a Dr. Who fangirl who wanted him to wear the costume (or possibly she wanted to wear it) so I'm not sure I could watch his version without getting stuck on that mental image.

Meep. Now I'm having visions of use of The Scarf.

Well, I wasn't before, but now...

*wanders away to a scarfy place*

Sadly, it's dial up, at least for now.

Wearing his costume. Hmmm, yes, I could see that. That's like the story James Marsters tells about a girl in the middle of everything who said, "Do the voice". And how he had a complete equipment failure at that point.

Yay! The new Who doesn't suck!

Thanks for letting us know -- we Canadians get to watch it on April 5th.

I think I scared my roommate when I squeeled in glee at the Sark/Lauren!Sydney scene.

I think every episode should have Sark in general.

Can't wait for Doctor Who, because yes, I am that sad.

And on a completely different note - you have the best icon in the whole of LJ! Down with that sort of thing! That's one of those quotes that just won't ever stop being funny in my circle of friends. The Passion of St. Tibulus - so funny. <3<3
