Channel 4 is running an ad for their political broadcasting awards that state "Tony Blair reveals his secret lover: Gordon Brown". With various clips cut together to support it (Gordon Brown asked if he's getting married, Tony saying it's between Gordon and him, huffy John Prescott...)

Political RPS. On TV. I love Channel 4 so very much.

HA! And all the rumors about Brown jockeying for Tony's position are really a lover's spat.

Ha! I saw it too. I kinda blinked and then had nightmares. Primarily because I had visions of Tony's orgasm-face.

And I cried.

A lot.

Aaaargh. My brain needs some bleach and a brillo pad now.

And I missed it! Meep.

But after The Deal, they've a lot to live up to.

Mind you, Newsnight did do that wonderful piece on B/B opening with the In Verona opening to Romeo and Juliet.

Which would presumably leave Prezza as the Nanny, Mandy as Romeo's 'best friend'.

And now it;s just getting scary.

Never, never in a million years over here. This country is stodgy at times. Then again, Bush/anyone makes me vaguely ill.

I have no idea which one is channel 4.

However, I thought of you as they were playing clips from the Brit Awards on BBC America. :-D

I died when I saw that advert. I was all "OMG, slash has become MAINSTREAM!" and falling off my chair. And then my family looked at me very oddly.

It's the faked clip of them holding hands under the tble that gets me every time.

*spits*

I don't suppose the ad is still running, is it? Because I think I might happily maim someone to see it.
