After about a year I'm finally sorting out my Yahoo Groups, and I'm curious - are there any Buffy/Angel fandom groups (preferably fic but possibly discussion too) that are worth joining? I tend to have a LJ-centric view of fandom these days and I'm wondering what I'm missing.

I'm in quiet a few and they've all gone down hill. They're all much of the suck now. Everyone's making LJ comm's and getting rid of the Yahoo Groups.

Ohh would it be ok to send you the bits of that fic I've been working on? Or are you busy gal?

Send them - I'm about to go to bed but I'll take a look tomorrow. Poke me to remind me if you don't hear back quickly *g*

Sounds great. Thanks hon.
It's 1 fic and I did my stupid quirk and I did the beginning and 3/4 of the end. lol. I gotta do the middle and the end but I wanna see how it sounds and if I should change anything before I finish it.

Thank you :)

Sunnydale Writers....

We don't always have discussion but there's a lot of good writers there.

UCSL. There's a lot of crap sent to it, but a few of our best writers send to that list and nowhere else.

And of course, silverlake-f. But that's multifandom. It's still by far the best fic mailing list out there. *hugs it*

Agreed. Those are by far the two best lists.

(Unrelated, I started out in Yahoo!Groups... and now I barely ever post to them. I think LJ now owns the fandom, heh.)

I have seen quite a few posters, that seem to say that the BBF list is so uncool, but never really why that is.
I am member, and I do like in thist list that I got to see what different people comes forward with, and I have also disagreed with a few recs in public on the board. And yes it heavy Spuffy biased, but not more than fandom in general is, and Spuffy is so absolute my least favourite pairing
So why is the BBF list uncool?

I never said it was uncool. I was making a joke to Doyle, based on previous conversations we've had about BBF not being to our taste(s). For *me*, I get annoyed at the pedantry of the posters, recs of things I think are mediocre getting millions of seconds, and recs of thing I love being ignored.
