My brain hurts. The only painkillers in the house are [livejournal.com profile] connorbeast's ultra-strong ones, and last time I took them I spent the night chasing invisible spiders away from my bed.

I have a presentation tomorrow morning which *should* be simple enough - 5 minutes on the history of internal radiotherapy - except I've left my work till the last minute and I missed most of the meetings with my group (they were meeting at 10am! What kind of student is conscious at 10am?) so now I have guilt and I'm terrified of letting everyone down. Which is silly because it's only a few of their marks will depend on me, but still.

I bought myself a DVD of Ant and Dec's Saturday morning kids show, specifically the Chums bits. I don't remember it being quite so subversive or overtly slashy. Like the part when Dec suspects his girlfriend, Cat, of having an affair with Ant.
Cat: What?! He doesn't even like girls!
Ant: Oi!
Cat: ...girls with long hair. Like me.
Ant: That's better.
Voiceover guy: Will Dec and Cat get back together? Will Ant...
Ant: I like girls, all right?
Voiceover guy: Yeah, sure you do.

Also, I really really really want spoilers for Serenity.

One of the main reasons I bought the DVD was because I was thinking "even if it's total crap, I can screencap and make icons..."

I love how much their relationship's played up. Especially when they were doing Pop Idol and they did a skit where they were playing Simon Cowell and Pete Waterman and it was RPS on top of RPS and the most meta thing in the world...
